Wednesdays-Dine on the Deck

Downtown Diversions

Where: City Deck, just a few blocks from the hotel!
When: Thursdays June 6 - August 29, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Cost: The event is free to attend and meals typically range between $5-$7. At this time, Dine on the Deck vendors do NOT accept credit cards.   

Food from downtown restaurants, music from local bands, and fun along the Fox River!

Smoking is prohibited. City of Green Bay ordinance 27.307 prohibits animals at special events.

Wednesday-Green Bay City Band Concerts

Downtown Diversions
When: Wednesday, June 13 - August 22 (no concert on July 4) 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Location:
 St. James Park, 801 S Madison Street-just a few blocks from the hotel!

Seating: Some seating is provided but feel free to bring a chair.
 
Themes to include Broadway, Sousa and Gershwin, Wild West, American Pop, Movies, Octoberfest, Big Band, and South of the Border.

Wednesdays-Broadway Farmer's Market

When: Wednesdays, May 30 through September 26, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Location:
North Broadway, just across the river from the hotel!

Over 100 vendors of meats, veggies, flowers...live music...snack carts...everything for a fun, and filling afternoon!

Thursdays-Summer in the Park

Downtown Diversions

Where: Whitney Park (800 Main St.) just a mile from the hotel!
When: Thursdays July 12 - August 9, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Parking: Park along City side streets or in the former Bellin Health building lot on the corner off Webster and Pine.
Amenities: Whitney Park has a great playground area for kids and bathroom facilities on-site.

Fridays on the Fox

Downtown Diversions

Where: City Deck, just a few blocks from the hotel!
When: Fridays, June 22 - August 24, 5 - 9 p.m., with entertainment starting at 6 p.m.
Concessions and local brews will be available by Hagemeister Park.
Free to attend. Food and beverage sold on site, no carry-ins of any kind.
Parking: Free parking after 6 p.m. on City Streets and in the Cherry, Main and Pine Street Ramps. Please note the ramp off of Pine Street above the Children's Museum is a private ramp; not to be used for event parking.
Seating: Some seating is provided but feel free to bring a bag chair to guarantee a spot.
Handicap Parking: The closest handicap parking is available in the Adams Street Lot bordered by Washington, Cherry and Adams Streets. A convenient drop-off area is located near the Pine Street entrance off CityDeck.

Saturdays-City Farmer's Market

Downtown Diversions
  • When: Saturdays, 7:00am - Noon
  • Where: You can't get any closer. It is in front of the hotel.
  • Vendor Makeup: The market features 75% produce/processed food, 15% prepared food and 10% arts/crafts. Over 150 local food and craft vendors participate throughout the season with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, breads, prepared foods and more.
  • Want a free tote? BayCare Clinic will offer attendees a free reusable tote bag at every market. You can find their booth near Washington and Walnut Street.
